	Easter Day - March 23rd 2008
	Rev Philip Drake led the first part of our early morning service in the Quiet Garden in the rain. This medative service continued in the church as the sun came out. This was followed by Easter Breakfast where eggs and toast were to the fore. We welcomed many old friends and former members to the Easter Morning communion service were the victory of the risen Christ was celebrated. The textual focus was "Do not cling to me." Easter this year has been the earliest for nearly a century. Defined as the Sunday after the full moon following the spring equinox the earliest it can possibly be is March 22nd.
