| Sabbatical Break for the Rev Philip Drake from Mid-April to Mid July 2007 | |
| The Methodist Church makes provision for
its ministers to take a three month break from the routine of ministry
after the first 10 years in the ministry. This is not a holiday, but an
opportunity to dop something different as a way of being refreshed for
ministry. Phil has decided to use the time to do some reading and writing (with the possible intention of producing a book) and visiting some Quiet Gardens in the region (after having helped to make one, he thought h might go and enjoy some). Phil will be sending periodic reports of what he has been doing with photographs of the idilic spots he has visited. |
