The work of NCH is supported in various ways at Llanishen Methodist Church.
In July we, as all Methodist churches, celebrate NCH with a service dedicated to the charity.
In January 2007 several members did a "step out" around Roath Park Lake and raised £115.00
(see picture).
On March 25th Rev Philip Drake was part of a group from the Cardiff Circuit who slept out in the Wales Gas car park in Churchill Way as part of the NCH Bed Down event (picture/report)
Some people have collecting boxes at home which are opened annualy; other prefer to make a donation to add to the box collection. In 2006 we raised £256.50 in this way. Boxes are organised by Jean Dickson (Tel : 20616552) who is the representative for Llanishen Methodist Church. If anyone wants any further information please contact Jean.
