Geoff writes : "The fox fur had been given by an old lady for us to take out to Romania with other clothes in an aid convoy from the Cardiff-based charity "Suppoprt for Romania". We decided to make use of the fox and Geoff was chosen to tame it.

"The fox bcame a firm favourite with Romanian children, particularly in the gypsy villages, who were encouraged to stroke it. The fox was then activated and bit them, to the consternation of the stroker and the delight of the watchers. But the mothers would not go near it, believing it was bewitched (there are still many witches to be found in Romanian rural area and the people remain very superstitious)."
